This is the trailer, yet it speaks volumes. I recently had a discussion about ideas. You can’t own the idea, just the execution of the idea, which is why I have no idea, if you ask me. If I did or I do, you’ll know as soon as I execute.
This reminds me of another “Valentines Day” type joint. I support this film, because these great actors and entertainers are working. It’s as simple as that. I love the fact that they are out there displaying the love for the craft. Surprised to see Nipsey and Sticky in this joint, but I know Mike Epps a keep it funny. I bet they had a ball filming this.
Universal Pictures has released the trailer for writer/director George Nolfi’s The Adjustment Bureau, starring Matt Damon, Emily Blunt, Anthony Mackie, John Slattery, Shohreh Aghdashloo, Michael Kelly and Terence Stamp. Opening September 17th, the film is based on a short story by Philip K. Dick.
In the film, ambitious politician David Norris (Damon), on the brink of winning a seat in the U.S. Senate, meets beautiful contemporary ballet dancer Elise Sellas (Blunt) – a woman like none he’s ever known. But just as he realizes he’s falling for her, mysterious men conspire to keep the two apart.
David learns he is up against the agents of Fate itself–the men of The Adjustment Bureau–who will do everything in their considerable power to prevent David and Elise from being together. In the face of overwhelming odds, he must either let her go and accept a predetermined path…or risk everything to defy Fate and be with her. -MyIdeaIsPrecious
WOW, Classic joint Part 2. The First Wall Street Movie Is One Of My All Time Favorites. I’m also one of the few people I know who appreciate “Boiler Room” . I have some of my favorite quotes from Wall Street like “If you need a friend, get a dog” – Gordon Gekko. “I’m tapped out Marv. American Express’ got a hit man lookin’ for me.” -Bud Fox
I’m definitely going to see this joint. Not because I once thought “Greed is good” should be the start of my companies mission statement or the beginning of my keynote speech at the political fundraiser, but because it’s an 80′s babies forewarning that many of us should have taken heed to. The first Wall Street set this joint up for perfect timing.
I’m already loving the modern day drops in the film, “BORDERS” Book Signings, LOL @ The Zack Morris Mobile (BRICK) Phone. Oliver Stone been dope, you not seeing this.. what you smoking ? Michael Douglas always made Gordon Gekko seem like that cat you’d want to earhustle off of at a dinner. With him getting out of crime school it makes me think the quotes this time will be tweet worthy, over and over again so we can bring out the Gordon Gekko in all of us. LOL.

Two mismatched New York City detectives seize an opportunity to step up like the city’s top cops whom they idolize — only things don’t quite go as planned…directed and co-written by Adam McKay. The film stars Will Ferrell and Mark Wahlberg, and co-stars Samuel L. Jackson, Dwayne Johnson, Eva Mendes, Anne Heche, Michael Keaton, Steve Coogan and Derek Jeter. The film is expected to be released August 6, 2010.
