I have a lot of projects in the works for 2010. GOD is truly great ! I’m focused and everyone around me is focused. I would normally tweet this. I find myself giving Twitter too many of my thoughts. I give Twitter entirely too much attention, because honestly, it is a great networking tool.

A trip down Memory Lane for nostalgia sake…I’m going to start back collecting these things…along with DJ Screw Tapes, which I’ll explain later.
The Wiki Said…Mr. Men is a series of 48 (46 published in English) children’s books by Roger Hargreaves started in 1971. Little Miss was an accompanying series of 42 (33 published in English) books by the same author with female characters that started in 1981. After Hargreaves’ death in 1988, his son, Adam Hargreaves, began writing and illustrating new stories involving the Mr. Men and Little Miss characters, including the creation of ten new characters, four of which were inspired by work Roger Hargreaves had produced before his death.

I wonder if my moms was trying to tell me something. I owned all these books as a child and I cherished these classics. They taught me lessons and somehow , helped me develop many talents.
And My favorite…and yes I remember this …..
I remember Moms would buy these cards and send them out to the fam. Very Very funny cards. I used to crack up at the puppets and the themes that seem so classic. I think they hit some of themes & scenarios right on the head.

Cousin Mattie’s Daddy’s Sister’s People
Launched in 1984, Cousin Mattie’s Daddy’s Sister’s People greeting cards quickly rose to become #2 line among African American consumers. Year one, the line was distributed in stores as well known as Bloomingdales, to those as close and neighborly as African American-owned card, gift and bookstores, and the nearest Hallmark store.
Articles about the characters and Cheryl Munson, their creator appeared in magazines including ESSENCE, EBONY, BLACK ENTERPRISE, and in newspapers ranging from THE NEW YORK TIMES to THE MILWAUKEE JOURNAL.
The Cousin Mattie’s Daddy’s Sister’s People line features a “family” of 12 life-size and amazingly life-like soft sculpture doll characters, all crafted and created from head-to-toe by Cheryl Munson. She stuffed and stiched each and every doll with pantyhose, yes pantyhose as her “medium.”
The Cousin Mattie characters are featured in over 48 homespun, folksy funny, nostalgic photographic settings and situations for the greeting card line as they take a stroll down the streets of Black America’s Memory Lane.

On Saturday, September 19th, 2009 I followed @UncleRush suggestions on eating at this Vegan spot called Mangos, on Westheimer and Taft ST. in Houston,TX. It was there where I saw Russell Simmons, chopping it up with his people and enjoying his food, so I needed the scoop. I asked Omar, the owner, whats the deal with The Godfather of Rap being in the building and he told me to head over to the Arena theater at about 2:30PM to hear him speak. I called @DaBonus, one of the bloggers I blog with at my Hip Hop Site, A1HH.COM (A1 Hip Hop) and told him to bring the cam, we made it in to get the speech, on low battery, with our side of the room being ignored when it came to Q & A. All in ALL, a great event brought to Houston to enlighten us, put on by The Brilliant Lecture Series and UNICEF. We managed to get some video, mainly the intro. I will also be posting this on Starclay.com (My media site & Info site)
